Welcome to www.everydayfridayrentals.com (the “Site”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you,” “customer,” or “renter”) and Everyday Friday Scooter Rentals (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) for use of our Site and rental services.
By accessing the Site or booking a scooter, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide short-term Vespa scooter rentals in St. Petersburg, Florida, and related services such as accessories or merchandise.
2. Eligibility
You must hold a valid U.S. Class E driver’s license, or a foreign equivalent legally recognized under Florida law.
You must be at least 18 years old.
By renting a scooter, you affirm that you meet the minimum insurance and licensing requirements to operate a scooter.
3. Reservations & Payments
Reservations can be made online or in person.
A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve.
Full payment (including applicable taxes and fees) is due before or at pickup.
A security deposit may be required and will be refunded if the scooter is returned undamaged and on time.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the start time are refundable (minus any processing fees).
Cancellations less than 24 hours before the start time may be charged in full.
No-shows will be charged the full rental amount.
5. Renter Responsibilities
By renting a scooter, you agree to:
Inspect the scooter before leaving and report any existing damage.
Wear a DOT-approved helmet (Florida law requires helmets for riders under 21; we strongly recommend helmets for everyone).
Riders are required under Florida law to wear state-approved eye protection (e.g., goggles or visor) regardless of age, unless the scooter is equipped with a suitable windshield.
Operate safely and never under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances.
Return the scooter at the agreed time and location in the same condition, with a full tank of gas unless otherwise specified. If the scooter is returned without a full tank (unless otherwise agreed), a refueling charge of $ 10 will apply.
You are responsible for all damage, loss, or theft during the rental period, including third-party claims, towing, and administrative fees.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
Allow anyone other than the listed renter(s) to operate the scooter.
Use the scooter for racing, off-road riding, stunts, or commercial delivery
Transport hazardous materials
Tamper with or disable GPS or tracking devices (if installed)
Operate scooter outside of authorized service zones or designated boundaries, including restricted areas or after curfew, as established by City of St. Petersburg scooter ordinances.
Violate any parking or sidewalk restrictions established under local city or county ordinance; scooters must be parked in designated or authorized corrals only.
7. Liability & Insurance
Our scooters carry the minimum liability coverage required by Florida law. This coverage does not include personal injury protection (PIP) or damage to the Renter’s person, property, or belongings.
The Renter is responsible for all third-party bodily injury, property damage, or fines incurred during the rental period.
Proof of your own insurance may be required prior to rental.
You are responsible for any costs exceeding our insurance coverage.
We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising from your use of the scooter, except as required by law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Everyday Friday Scooter Rentals, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, municipal citations, parking fines, geofencing violations, unauthorized use, improper parking, or any violations of applicable micromobility ordinances in the City of St. Petersburg or Pinellas County.
9. Website Use
Content on this Site is provided “as is” for informational purposes only.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
We are not responsible for third-party links or external websites.
9A. GPS Tracking Disclosure
For safety, fleet management, and compliance with local regulatory and geofencing requirements, all scooters are equipped with GPS tracking devices.
By renting a scooter, you consent to the collection and monitoring of location data during your rental. This data will not be sold and is used strictly for operational, legal, and safety purposes.
9B. Security Deposit & Authorization
A refundable security deposit of $ 150 in CASH may be required.
This hold will be released after the scooter is returned in good condition. You further authorize us to charge your card for damages, loss, towing, late fees, administrative charges, or cleaning expenses as described in this agreement.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You waive any right to a jury trial and agree to resolve disputes in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Pinellas County, Florida. Each party shall bear its own costs unless otherwise ordered by the court.
Prior to initiating legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations, including but not limited to mediation or arbitration.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes means you accept the new Terms and Conditions.

All scooter rentals are non-refundable once the rental period has begun.
Reservations may be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time for a full refund of the rental fee and any security deposit.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pickup time or “no-shows” will be charged the full rental amount.
Security deposits are held as a pre-authorization only and will be released in full once the scooter is returned on time, with a full tank of gas, and without damage or excessive cleaning needs.
If damage, late return, or loss occurs, the cost of repairs or replacement and any applicable late fees will be deducted from the deposit and any remaining balance charged to the renter’s payment method on file.
